The Home Depot SiteStrategies for getting the most out of a Home Depot visit. When you walk in the door you want to get the most out of your time and money. Here are some things you can do to make the most out of the visit. 1. Plan out what you need ahead of time. Don't wander looking aimlessly for things. 2. Get the right cart before you enter the store. You will not find it once you get inside. If you are getting lumber get the big lumber cart. 3. Find the items that need help first. If you need paint mixed, then go get that first as that can take time. 4. Work your way from one end of the store to the other. Don't waste steps going back and forth from gardening to lumber and back again. 5. Use the self checkout whenever you can. This is an awesome way to save time. It is tricky the first time you do it but once you know how to make the machine work, swipe your card and so on you will get out much faster than waiting for the other checkout lines. 6. Make sure you have got the right items. Return at big stores like Home Depot can take time and time is money in my book and it should be in yours as well. |
